The Data Centre Campus Scheduler will work as part of an operational team to oversee the successful delivery of all in house preventative maintenance & break fix work orders across the Campus. The Campus Scheduler will be responsible for the overall PM schedule which the team will follow and will work very closely with the campus technical supervisors & contract supports to ensure all PM's are completed correctly as per the pre-defined schedule with the client. The Campus Scheduler will ensure all financial details are accurately captured by the team & correctly communicated out on each site for the successful billing of the PM's & extra works each month. 

Responsibilities include:
    

  • Take ownership of Planned Maintenance Schedule and CMMS Administration of that Schedule.
  • Coordinate/schedule Plan and supervise the on-going PPM Maintenance
  • Be the main point of contact for all PM/Corrective Maintenance activities (MOP) carried out by the Team or Vendors across the campus.
  • Work closely with the Technical (Planning) Supervisors across the Campus for the planning and scheduling of the Team's maintenance and break fix items ensuring no impact to day to day operations.
  • Develop CBRE quotations for any extra works or projects outside of the Planned maintenance schedule & submit via CMMS for client approval. This will include the likes of materials, technician hours for service delivery and other various spend items relating to the works.
  • Once extra works quotations are approved, the Campus Scheduler will manage and schedule these or any extra works/corrective break fix work orders for the Team to complete — ensuring the Team update & close out associated CMMS work orders for these tasks correctly.
  • Process the teams completed Planned Maintenance, extra works & all other CMMS work orders for payment, ensuring CMMS work order details coincide with purchase order
    raised against each task and conform to CBREs invoice requirements via the contract supports/CEM's.

  Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in Technical Planning, Scheduling in a Critical Environment.
  • Can Plan and Co-ordinate Mechanical & Electrical Planned Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance tasks over a multi month time frame
  • A basic understanding of the various systems used in a data Center environment, including: Generators, Fuel Systems, Chillers, Building Management Systems and Controls, Air handling units, Variable Frequency Drives (VSDs), Fire Alarm systems and fire Suppression systems (pre-action sprinklers).
  • Have a Proven Track Record in Problem Solving and the ability to identify maximize and leverage maintenance opportunities.
  • Possess excellent communication and coaching skills
  • Have a good understanding of the financial impact of maintenance and reduce operational costs by identifying opportunities to self-perform works based on resources available in house.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate intelligently and effectively with the client and in-house Team who perform maintenance or upgrade work on the data Centre systems.
  • Computer literate with the ability to compile and submit Weekly, monthly and annual reports, and to monitor and trend operational data. Good working ability on Microsoft Office Products like Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • The ability to learn quickly and to gain maximum benefit from extensive training and development programs aimed at ensuring that any identified knowledge or experience deficiencies are addressed in the short term.
  • Willingness to work outside of normal hours to resolve technical issues onsite.
  • Organized, able to effectively prioritize and deliver within a dynamic and high pressure, business critical environments
  • Must have a high level of energy, be self- starters, confident and stable in manner
  • Self-motivated, with ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent time management, organisation and communication skills
